The weather was gearing up for some storm activity, but these clouds didn't dump any rain and dissipated after about 30 minutes. At least 5 or 6 times a year. We live amidst the Baraboo bluffs in WI and normally get these before a late afternoon storm, or when the storm passes over without releasing the rain it holds.I've never seen lightning in this type of cloud though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
