Exercises to Open Your Third Eye & Awaken Your Pineal Gland

Editor’s Note:  This is an interesting method for awakening the Pineal Gland. Give it a try!

AWAKENING I

Please read all of the following. If you wish to perform this exercise, you need to understand what you will be doing. It is important to follow the instructions as this is somewhat advanced:
The Third Eye is directly related to the 6th chakra — the psychic chakra, located on the middle of the forehead above the brows. It is closely associated with the “pineal” gland. Thepineal gland is dormant in most people, as is the true Third Eye.
French Philosopher Rene Descartes believed the pineal gland to be “the seat of the soul” where mind and body met.
In the average person, the pineal gland is atrophied, [calcified] and dormant. The following exercise will change that. Please read this thoroughly, as much of the exercises I write of are very advanced and can cause problems if one does not do them correctly.
The pineal gland is like a pea in size; like a shriveled raisin in most people where it remains dormant.

Opening the Pineal Gland/Third Eye

This is done with a specific tone and chant. You only need to do this exercise for 3 days, afterwards, it is permanent.
The mantra to be used is “Thoh,” pronounced “TOE.”
It must be within the correct vibration.
Not deep, not high pitched, inbetween, like alto range.
You will feel it when you hit the correct tone. So play around and don’t second guess yourself. When you think you’ve got it, you probably do.
1. Sit with your back straight.
2. Breathe in through your nose and hold your breath as long as is comfortable.
Open your jaws so there is a small space between your top and bottom teeth.
Place the tip of your tongue between the space of your slightly parted teeth.
3. Put a very light pressure onto the tongue with your teeth.
This is like the same process of saying the “TH” part of the English word “the.”
Once your tongue is in position, release your breath slowly through your mouth, saying T-H-H-O-H-H in one long exhale.
Say the word one time per exhale. Your tongue will be vibrating between your teeth.
You should feel the air moving past your tongue and teeth.
If this technique is done properly, you will feel a pressure or sensation in your jaw and cheeks. The tone will also vibrate in your third eye.
It may take a few seconds to adjust this, don’t worry, just keep going.
4. Do the above 5 times in a row.
5. It is very important the above exercise be done for 3 consecutive days, 24 hours apart. Then it is a done deal.

What You Can Expect

One of the first experiences is a headache or pressure in the center of the forehead. This sensation may also feel like it is originating from within, usually an inch or more beneath the surface of the forehead. This is a positive indication the pineal gland is awakening and beginning to function in a healthy manner.
*Some people can experience a migraine lasting several hours, so to be safe it is recommended that you try this in the evening when you do not have work to do. The severity of the side effects will depend on how atrophied/calcified your pineal gland is to begin with.
After the occurrence of headache or pressure in the forehead, you may wake up one morning with a throbbing or tingling sensation in your forehead; it may feel like a goosebump.
The feeling may be very intense, like something is there. The sensation of pulsing or throbbing will continue throughout the day, and you may “hear” sounds coming from within your head, such as light popping or crackling sensations.
These are the final physiological events you may experience after opening up your third eye. It indicates your pineal gland is awakened, functioning and alive.
Psychic Effects
You may experience any or all of these to varying degrees:
  • Faster, easier learning and retention
  • Marked increase in intuition
  • Increased creativity
  • Psychic gifts develop and become markedly stronger, along with more developed ability to see or sense human auras
  • Clairvoyance (psychic vision) opens up
  • Clairaudience (psychic hearing) opens up
  • Clairsentience (psychic feeling/touching) opens up
This is a very powerful exercise, and as with all powerful practices, your body may go through discomfort in order to adapt.

AWAKENING II

In order for this to work properly, you must have already performed the Awakening I exercise.
I included this above for those who are new.
It is very important to wait for 10-14 days following Awakening I, before you go onto Awakening II, otherwise the exercises won’t be effective. Your body needs time to adapt and get the energy flow going.
This exercise is completely euphoric and intensley pleasurable. Unlike Awakening I, this should be done once a week, and given the blissful effects that are lasting when done correctly, most people will enjoy doing so.
Breath in deeply and hold your breath for a count of five.
Repeat this three times.
This helps you to be relaxed and focused.
Now focus all of your attention upon your Third Eye.
You should begin to feel a sensation similar to the effects of the Awakening I exercise — a slight pressure or awareness of the spot of your Third Eye.
Now, take a deep breath as you did for the Awakening I exercise.
Hold it for as long as comfortable  — do not push this —  and release your breath, vibrating the word “MAY.” This is pronounced like the English language word for the month of May.
It should all come out at one time- M-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ay, gradually and slowly.
It is ok to adjust your pitch. The tone should be alto.
Breath in again, and repeat this five times.
You need to hit a certain pitch. You will know when you do, for you will feel this in your head. Do the best you can.
Now, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT:
When vibrating the word “MAY,” feel the energy going into your head,
first into your Third Eye area,
then into the middle of your brain,
and then to the top of your head where your crown chakra is located.
REMEMBER: Concentrate on your forehead (Third Eye area),
then the middle of your brain
and finally the top of your head.
This is done for the duration of each chant.
1. Breath in.
2. Begin to exhale, vibrating “MAY.”
3. Concentrate on your Third Eye.
4. Concentrate on the middle of your brain.
5. Concentrate on the top of your head and finish exhaling the vibration.
Repeat four more times.
The effects of this exercise are extremely pleasurable.
A feeling of lightness can occur immediately following the exercise.
Some people may feel energy or tingling inside their heads, or completely covering their heads; a slight pressure in the crown area and intense euphoria is also common.
The blissful state can occur hours and even days later.
This will eventually become permanent and will greatly assist in void meditation, clairvoyance, and the development of other psychic and paranormal senses.

  1. I cant find anywhere someone demonstrating the Thoh sound. I mean its a bit frustrating, wouldnt be easier to post a 5 second video just showing how its suppose to sound like instead of going through 100 confusing steps?? this is like one of the few cases where a video is much more convenient than writing.

  4. I have entered into this 3rd eye awakening. I suggest that those of you who are attempting this journey get ready first. Start with the 1st chakra and work up to the 6th. You must be grounded, and prepared. The transformation was starling, and confusing. Be careful!

  6. I was born....unusually so my third eye opened naturally upon reaching the age of maturity. It's very important that before attempting your awakening u fully accept and understand there is no turning back, and absolutely zero room for fear. U are opening yourself to the light and the dark of the universe. Make a connection u cannot handle the consequences are unforgiving. Many now sit in asylums from reaching for something they were not willing to accept or strong enough to handle... others are simply.... gone. I'm not saying to not acknowledge your fear, in fact your fear will let u know to be cautious, but to set fear aside and be one with all. Have I tried this exercise? No, I have no need, but I will on the principal of exploration and furthering my gifts. Friends....just be prepared and don't take this lightly...it is an amazing and beautiful thing to awaken and will change your life.     Although you are going for the "TOE" sound it will probably just sound something like a bumble bee.

  11. My third exercise was this morning. Haven't had any migraines or any of the other physiological events that indicate my third eye has awakened. Can anybody explain this? I am not disproving anything in this article, it's possible I did not do this correctly, however I would like to hear some opinions

    1. maybe you havent found your correct pitch. my 3rd day was today and after 15 mins i opened my eyes and it felt like i had just woke up from a very deep REM sleep. i have felt pressures in my head. i havent had any migranes yet, but i have definitely experienced some results

  12. Frederick again. Getting emails in response to my post. Many seem hung up on the warning conveyed. All rules are meant to be broken ladies and gentleman. Otherwise we would not have achevied so much through science, technology and are current social state. I merely wished to let everyone no not all is roses and sunshine... personally I'm rather content... why be asleep and blind my whole life when this universe has so much to offer.   13. I did the thoh method to open my third eye about 3 years ago and it worked, i have never tried the second method though so will it still work even though my third eye awakened long ago?

Namaste. but you know there is no way you can use words, language and logic to convince them; what are you talking about, that kind of knowledge is very difficult , actually there i dare to say it impossible to put into language for someone who is not "in the know". everyone needs to solve the puzzle alone, for and by themselves.

  15. Namaste , sephiro007 I believe you to be wrong with all due respect. There is a way to help guide others to be "in the know" email me and I will explain as best I can. This is my path and I will walk it... The most difficult part of helping others to awaken is to help them assuage their fears... which does give me a great deal of concern. Its happening more and more everyday and this will continue until they throw me in a hole in the ground and plant a tree with my remains. I'm not afraid of what I have to say...

  17. sephiro007@yahoo.com = Ok ladies and gentleman thats it I'm done with this... you want to learn to awaken...YOU ALREADY ARE!!! We all carry these gifts within ourselves! These exercises are simply methods of strengthing you eye and to focus the damn thing! If you would but simply calm you mind, remove your doubts and society bred inhibitions of true spirituality you can accomplish this by YOUR methods! Yes, some of us that are awakened do so naturally and yes some do so through these exercises... but that does not mean that one size fits all. If you attempt to awaken with the thought anywhere within you of " oh, this is bullshit or I'm being a retard " then you just simply will not see! Instead of trying to open your eye how about you learn to meditate first? Here is a very simple and effective technique that I learned from a sci-fi fantasy book, yea I will put that out there. Picture a small flame within your mind... hold it there. Now feed every single thought and emotion into this flame and watch it grow. You will have to keep trying because the moment a random or stray thought occurs its gone... just keep the flame in your mind and feed every single doubt, worry and your entire mind into it. ( no you will not go nuts or lose your mind, My word on my soul and those before me )keep feeding this now bonfire of mental baggage until it winks itself out. Welcome to the void. Space within your mind.. stay within this void and allow thought and emotion to slide along the outer surface of this void... hold it, learn it and practice it. Do it at work, do it with your friends around, hell try it when your wasted... this is actually a very old technique and can allow you to pull off some very amazing things. practice it and then begin to try to see... although within the void you may simply open your eye naturally and all by yourself... no weird noises required. Anyone practicing martial arts knows similar techniques. You want to awaken? Be real about it and be real within yourself and do not attempt it if you are scared of failure... you will not enjoy what happens if you get lucky and pull it off. Skepticism on any level is the precursor to failure..

  18. I'm reading that sci-fi series now!!! =-D I haven't used it in that sense but I have done my own. I close my eyes (or not) and focus on breathing. Nothing else. Then from there I move into a state of being one with my surroundings, I am one with my surroundings.

  24. One key to awakening this chakra is detoxification of the pineal gland. See most massed produced water and food as well as every day items have chloride and fluoride containing chemicals. These coupled with other chemicals can build up and inhibit the gland from working properly. See it is completely natural for human beings to open up spiritually and society actually works against the widespread awakening of the public. Some believe it is a method of control and some believe it is to filter out the weaker or darker spirits from the collective unconscious or a direct link with the source. I am still learning these techniques myself and I have purchased many naturally occurring supplements and teas to detoxify myself. It is an arduous path and it is extremely rewarding.     1. 24 hours is 1 full day and night, day 12 hours, night 12 hours. So if you start it today at 01:00, do it once today, then once tomorrow at 01:00 and again the next day, at 01:00.... i hope this clears it up for you.

  29. Thanks for telling my about the hours, it clears things up indeed :-) And about ayahuasca, I went to Peru last july and had 5 ceremonies in 9 days. It was bizar, great,terrible but overall fantastic! According to this subject, for me I think it really did something with the pineal gland, my intuition is better and there is more. So it's great for more counsiousness but enlightning needs a little bit more than that ;-)
