Scientific Proof We Can Reprogram Our DNA With Sound, Thought & Light: Biophotons In Action

Higher Perspective

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and it turns out our DNA is a golden elixir. As though to confirm the hunch many of us have had that our ‘junk’ DNA was anything but disposable, researchers from the Gene and Stem Cell Therapy Program at Sydney's Centenary Institute have proven that 97 percent of human DNA programs proteins in our bodies. Light programs material reality as you will soon see. One of the researchers involved in this study said, “this discovery, involving what was previously referred to as ‘junk’ opens up a new level of gene expression control . . .”

The alternative physics is a physics of light. Light is composed of photons, which have no antiparticle. This means that there is no dualism in the world of light. The conventions of relativity say that time slows down as one approaches the speed of light, but if one tries to imagine the point of view of a thing made of light, one must realize that what is never mentioned is that if one moves at the speed of light there is no time whatsoever. There is an experience of time zero. ... The only experience of time that one can have is of a subjective time that is created by one's own mental processes, but in relationship to the Newtonian universe there is no time whatsoever. One exists in eternity, one has become eternal, the universe is aging at a staggering rate all around one in this situation, but that is perceived as a fact of this universe — the way we perceive Newtonian physics as a fact of this universe. One has transited into the eternal mode. One is then apart from the moving image; one exists in the completion of eternity.

"New Maps of Hyperspace" ~ Terence McKenna (1989); originally published in Magical Blend magazine, also in The Archaic Revival: Speculations on Psychedelic Mushrooms, the Amazon, Virtual Reality, UFOs, Evolution, Shamanism, the Rebirth of the Goddess, and the End of History (1992)]

This very recent discovery also means there are multiple modalities that mainstream science has yet to give a nod to, which just might re-train or reprogram our DNA -- even cells which have become cancerous or are mutilated by the onslaught of toxins in our environment and negative emotional baggage which has been proven to have an deleterious impact on health. The International Institute of Biophysics studies just such possibilities. Dr. Fritz-Popp whom you will be introduced to momentarily established the institute. Our expression inhuman form is indeed eternal, as McKenna suggests.

Our constitutions are affected by numerous influences, but western science has most often looked to us as a purely mechanistic assemblage of parts, with very little connection to the grander cosmos. Fortunately, this is changing – and quite radically. Even our DNA is infused with the all-pervading presence of light and energy that has been called numerous things throughout time – zero-point energy, prana, Qi, ether, akasa (a Sanskrit term meaning the first of the five material elements that constitute the universe; often translated as "space" or "ether". The four other elements being vayu (air), agni (fire), ap (water), and prithivi (earth).) Some simply call this the God-particle. The smallest known material particle which composes life on earth (and elsewhere) is perhaps the bio-photon. These are the sub-quark level organizing force of the entire Universe, sometimes called the preon.

When a person experiences physical, emotional or mental problems, a causative disturbance is always found in the quality of biophoton emission (light). Symptoms, which are merely expressions of this underlying cause, are that what is often called the disease. In Biontology however symptoms are seen as a means of the body to attract attention to a problem, not as the problem itself. In other words, symptoms are not the disease, but disease expresses itself through symptoms. When this is fully understood it makes no sense to fight a disease on the level of its symptoms, like so many mainstream and alternative therapies do. In Biontology the integrity of a human’s own light is restored, hence addressing disease on the causative level.

Most of modern science looks at the body from a very gross level, but biophotons point to the subtle Qi or prana that the ancients taught us about. In fact, the pranic pathways which photons likely travel are that which are mapped in ancient descriptions of ‘nadis’ or ‘meridians.’ Biophotons may in fact be synonymous with the energy the adepts were telling us about – and our DNA is the storehouse for photons, or light, it just isn’t within the visible spectrum. Some scientists have called biophotons ‘weak’ but I prefer the term subtle, because they are anything but wondrous in the ways they utilize DNA to sustain life.

The typical detected magnitude of "biophotons" in the visible and ultraviolet spectrum ranges from a few up to several hundred photons per second per square centimeter of surface area, much weaker than in the openly visible and well-researched phenomenon of normal bioluminescence, but stronger than in the thermal, or black body radiation that so-called perfect black bodies demonstrate. The detection of these photons has been made possible (and easier) by the development of more sensitive photomultiplier tubes and associated electronic equipment. (Princeton)

These pathways as described in the picture above, can be seen as the microcosmic reflection of a greater network. Many people have compared human DNA to the Internet. It communicates immense amounts of information in such microcosmically small, but significant ways, mimicking a vast network of information portals, not unlike the billions of websites connected to one another all over the world. It may account for our intuition, spontaneous healing, and a number of other phenomena that mainstream science is just beginning to understand.

Chaos Theory and DNA

Chaos theory states that chaotic appearances are just a very complex system affected by very subtle changes in an almost infinite array of varying possibilities. When you consider that humans have 3 billion base pairs of DNA, most of which are identical, but that there are at least 3 billion raised the 4th power (4 raised to 3,000,000,000) of positions possible – a number larger than the number of particles in the Universe, and certainly a fact one we would have a hard time conceptualizing – you might just call DNA a highly organized but extremely complex system – seeming to be chaotic. Is it not possible that such a complex system can be affected by very subtle shifts of light or sound, even the human voice, or super subtle human thought forms?

Johan Boswinkle, a physicist who studied medicine and then physics, eventually stumbled on the curious science of biotonology.  He discovered that human beings actually do emit light, and they do so in a very organized manner.

The DNA Spectrum: Making Music with Biology

There are numerous scientists (not to mention thousands of years of spiritual adepts) who claim light and sound alter our DNA. DNA is a type of language, albeit a complex one. Computer simulations and a purely biological approach to understanding the language of the double helix have failed; however, in the same way that language fails to describe ‘ascended states.’ Mainstream science will tell us that while DNA involves construction rules that affect different sequences, the ‘dictionary’ of DNA does not follow Zipf’s law, which every other natural language follows. So, even though DNA has structure, it is not a language. I heartily disagree.

If you have ever watched a musician who was skilled in playing his or her instrument technically, to absolute perfection, but somehow lost the emotional ‘language’ which is necessary to convey an ovation-inspired performance, then you understand that stringing together a perfect phrase or sequence of notes does not account for an entirely separate and subtle language that speaks to the human heart and mind. It is the technical perfection of the right rhythms and notes paired with heart and passion that brings us to our feet. Similarly, DNA can be strung together in its typical set of A-T or C-G, but it is the junk DNA which might decide whether your cells cause you to develop cancer or be gifted with the ability to see clairvoyantly.  Russian linguists, Dr. Pjotr Garajajev and Vladimir Poponin found that DNA does follow similar patterns and rules to human language, but this is not the most interesting information, by a long shot.

In fact, biologist, Dr. David Deamer and Susan Alexjander, who holds an MA in music, have discovered that DNA makes its own beautiful music before we even try to alter it. The two measured the actual molecular vibrations of DNA and recorded it using an infrared spectrophotometer. They exposed each section of DNA to infrared light and measured the wavelength it absorbed, and therefore determined its sound frequency. What it made was ‘hauntingly beautiful’ music. "Some of the combinations of frequencies," Alexjander said, ". . .they are just stunning. I find it very arresting. It sounds alive to me."

For those who have studied Eastern music, the following finding from the same researchers will prove to be even more curious. Most of the pitch changes recorded coming from our DNA are microtonal – for those of you who haven’t studied music, this means that they are not like the Western –conceived scales of music, but our DNA is more like a throat singer from Nepal or an Indian classical singer who can sing about four different pitches between the space of just one western ‘note.’ The frequencies of the DNA are found in the space between the westernized scale. Here’s the stupefying correlation – Mantra, as practiced by Middle and Far Eastern cultures – those which adepts and sages swore could change our energetic fields, and surely our DNA structure – are microtonal as well.

Physics Discovers Biophotons

Another fascinating discovery came from the work of a German scientist named Alfred Fritz-Popp. Biophotons were previously discovered but given other names, and known about intuitively by spiritual seekers in multiple cultures throughout the world. Fritz-Popp was credited with understanding that while you can use UV light to destroy 99 percent of a cell, you can heal a cell with the biophotonic spectrum.

A biophoton is essentially light that is emitted from the body. Biophotons are present in all living things including animals, plants, and people. Their existence was re-discovered by Alexander Gurwitsch who received the Stalin Prize for his findings, but Fritz-Popp discovered that DNA emitted biophotons and also absorbed it, and that the health of a living creature could be determined by the subtle energy of biophotons being emitted from it. Apparently DNA stores up biophotons and releases them when they are most needed – our life force or ‘light force’ is smart enough to know when we will need more of it to sustain ourselves. Biophotons have also been observed rushing into a room when someone does remote healing from across the country! So we can transmit them to others as well.

Scientists have even conducted double blind tests to see how biophotons effect red blood cells, and the results are astounding. In another study, isolated neurons in mice were treated with biophoton therapy to see if they would live longer. The results are visibly apparent:

So – if a biophoton is just light stored in the cells – namely the DNA, and there is a dynamic web of light traveling through the body at all times - between people and other living things - this would logically mean we can literally raise our levels of light by altering our DNA with sound, thought, and other therapies. The Internet of our light-bodies might very well consist of the energetic pathways along which biophotons travel – to our cells, organelles, tissues, and organs themselves, to determine our overall level of health.

Furthermore, neurophysiologist Karl Pribram postulates that the process of morphogenesis, cell growth, differentiation, and regulation are all based on the coherence of the biophotonic field.

The holographic biophotonic field of the brain and the nervous system, and maybe even that of the whole organism, may also be the basis of memory and other phenomena of consciousness, as postulated by Pribram and others. The consciousness-like coherence properties of the biophoton field are closely related to its base in the properties of the physical vacuum and indicate its possible role as an interface to the non-physical realms of mind, psyche and consciousness.

The discovery of biophoton emission also lends scientific support to some unconventional methods of healing based on concepts of homeostasis (self-regulation of the organism), such as various somatic therapies, homeopathy and acupuncture. The "ch'i" energy flowing in our bodies' energy channels (meridians), which according to traditional Chinese Medicine, regulates our body functions as they are related to node lines of the organism's biophotonic field. The "prana" of Indian yoga physiology may well be the same regulating energy force that has a basis in weak, coherent electromagnetic biofields.

Using Sound, Thought and Light to Change DNA

It is also no mistake that numerous open minds have discovered the science of sound and its ability to alter DNA. Our living chromosomes act just like solitonic/holographic motherboards that reflect and absorb both light and intention (thought). We are light beings, not human beings. When we think with our hearts, we emit ‘light’ quite literally. This is not a metaphor, and the new science of biophotonic energy is proving this. The ancients knew this secret, and were trying to teach it to us for the past several thousand years.

It has long been known, for example, that certain sounds called bija mantras, or seed syllables had a significant affect on the brain, and therefore the entire nervous system and heart. The true purpose of the mantra, however, was to get us out of our heads and into our hearts by utilizing sound as a means to bypass the intellect as well as emotional and physiological grooves – rote thinking – which can stilt our further advancement toward spiritual goals. Mantra affects our DNA. This is what ancient Egyptians, Sumerians, Vedic societies and others always knew. As we utilize sound, or thought, we can literally become more light-filled. Gregorian chants, Solfeggio frequencies and particular Hz of oscillating sound can do the same. Many say we are even evolving to utilize a full 12 strands of our DNA instead of the two we are familiar with presently.  Bruce Lipton talks of this extensively in his work on spontaneous evolution.

In conclusion, the discovery of biophotons and their connection to our DNA is nothing less than life changing. As we allow more light to fill our consciousness – more of the organizing force which permeates all Universes, then it follows that we will become like Gods.

Researchers think that if humans with full individuality would regain group consciousness, they would have a god-like power to create, alter and shape things on Earth! AND humanity is collectively moving toward such a group consciousness of the new kind.”

Things like clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self-healing, affirmation techniques that make things ‘magically’ materialize, unusual light/auras around people, and other ‘unlikely’ phenomenon will become common place. That junk DNA is the storehouse of our light. As we expand our light-bodies, we will expand our abilities, our health, and our power to overcome insurmountable odds. All it takes to reprogram our DNA is to live in love.

Paramahansa Yogananda, the yogi who once taught the Beatles how to meditate once said, “Kindness is the light that dissolves all walls between souls, families, and nations.” Apparently, it can dissolve even the egoic constructions of war, greed, famine, and the error of believing we are material beings. We are light beings. Our destiny is already written in our DNA.

  1. I really enjoy articles from Higher Perspective, but my one criticism is credibility. Articles making controversial claims like this one should be backed up by references from scientific papers, not just names that when Googled come up with "pseudoscience" and "scientists' wild claims debunked". It disappoints me that a page with frequent articles mentioning how we are being given false information by the mass media can include articles written in such a dishonest way. I'm not saying that the articles are trying to be dishonest, rather I suspect a lack of research into the science behind the claims, but it is the duty of an author to relay truth and not claim things which can't be backed up. I know the fact that something can be labeled as pseudoscience doesn't necessarily claim it to be false, but if there is no scientific evidence then you shouldn't write about something as if it is fact.

    1. Just because it is not endorsed by people does not make it any less real.
Look at "pseudo science" a thousand years ago. The earth? Round? Ha!
      Electricity? Magic!
Doctors sixties years ago said smoking cigarettes was healthy!
Authority approving it does not make it less real.
This stuff has been around for centuries. Research.

  2. Have you ever seen "wind".!

Of course you can see a "tree swaying"... and feel something blowing on your face!

Yet you haven't seen "the wind"...

So why should I believe there is something called WIND, if I cannot see it.

Perhaps it would serve us well to better understand the relation between "believing and not believing... and the power inherent"!!!

    Just a thought, Adrian

  3. For goodness sake.... just meditate and you will see all and feel all........that IS the evidence, but if you are too lazy to do so, then you will never understand the magic we have right inside ourselves. The Divine lives in your heart space.....I promise you if you go there, you will feel the most magical bliss you have ever experienced, and see and hear things that you could never see or hear before.....it's easy to dismiss these claims when you are lazy.....it's the people that want to change that work at getting all they desire.........stay in your lazy ignorance and good luck to you!!

  4. 'DNA is more like a throat singer from Nepal or an Indian classical singer who can sing about four different pitches between the space of just one western ‘note.’

As a musician and someone in tune with spirit, this resonated with me. As I'm writing this, 'snake charming' comes to mind. The ancients associated the serpent with DNA.

    Hmmm...
