It is entirely possible that life is a mix of alien evolutions plus natural processes. I do not know if we'll ever get definitive proof...especially after we'll be guilty of seeding other planets ourselves...just by landing on them to investigate... Distributing millions of bacteria with us as we breath any oxygen air, or take a walk. That fact will surely blur the issue.
